A low-population, non-industrial, non-aligned world located in the Vilis Subsector of the Spinward Marches. 899-076, known to its inhabitants as Liberty Station, is an ice-capped vacuum world with a cold climate. The population of 899-076 is a motley, lawless rabble of Imperial colonists and a few Zhodani. Surrounding interstellar authorities tolerate this port to exist, subject to the occasional raid and military visit.

By the Regency era this world was known as "Ring of Fire."
