A non-agricultural, non-industrial Zhodani world located in the Riverland Cluster in the Jewell Subsector of the Spinward Marches. Ao-dai is a moon orbiting Ao-dai Prime, a planet reduced to barren rock during the Ancients' war. Ao-dai has a frozen climate and a trace oxygen-nitrogen atmosphere.
In the Regency era the world is known as Ainzaia.
[edit] Non-Canon
. Ainzaia was formerly known as Ao-dai. This world was devastated during the Ancients Final War, and its population lives in deep craters created by asteroid bombardment.
As a result of the Anchient assault, most of Ao-dai's atmosphere was blown off. A portion of this atmosphere was gathered by it moon, giving it a thin nitogen-oxygen atmosphere and about 8% coverage of surface ice. The world recieved a major influx of Vargr refugees in the aftermath of the Collapse, and relations between the newcomers and the Consulate government have been rocky.
