An Imperial-aligned world located in the Vilis Subsector of the Spinward Marches. Arkadia is a volcanic world, prone to frequent earthquakes and eruptions. It has a normal climate and a thin oxygen-nitrogen atmosphere, slightly tainted with volcanic gasses.

The population of the planet is separated in a several widely scattered settlements. Arkadia produces few exports.

Arkadia was originally colonized in 198 by Sword Worlders from Colada (Spinward Marches 1022) and named Aroundight. After being cut off from the Sword Worlds Arkadia regressed and was eventually taken over by Imperial settlers. Arkadia was granted Imperial membership in 576.
