The Hardbeak is a fair-size flyer, with a very large beak shaped vaguely like a sickle. It can eat plants when fresh kill is unavailable, but it preferes meat. Its attack method is a screaming dive with its irregularly shaped beak. It makes a pass, slashing the victim with the beak then circling until it dies. Hardbeaks are social creatures, generally gathered in a flock of up to a dozen individuals. Their prefered nesting sites are on the ground, under the cover of trees or shrubs.
