The Otari are a variant Human race, genetically engineered during the Rule of Man to allow them to survive on Otrai (Glimmerdrift Reaches 0329). Most of the changes are biochemical, allowing the Otari to filter the otherwise poisonous atmosphere and survive on the local flora and fauna. Otherwise the Otari are a deeply spiritual people, vitally concenerned with matters of religion and faith.
