Tarlaihiyr was "gifted" to the Tarlaioekh clan in 1163 for their dishonorable actions in a clan war. Vassals of the Aokhalte, the clan deserted its positions in a battle in Vanguard Reach sector with the Seieakh clan. Rather than send them in exile back into the Aslan Wilds where they might do mischief, the Tlaukhu exiled them to this remote world, using them to relieve the local garrison of its duties. The clan understands that it has little chance of redemption on a remote world in the middle of nowhere, and it has begun to send its scouts out into the depths of the Rift to seek some other means of restoring its fortunes.
